Does this 3 wheeler have solex on the bike itself or just on the engine? It may be a hybrid?? No solex engines are not that loud but they do not have alot of power. There are times that going up a hill that you have to pedal to make it. They are more of a novelty, if you already own a couple puch's. But man they can be fun to just fly around on!!!! If you love peds then you must own something like a solex, some of them are classics! As for a price maybe $200 to $250 but it is hard to say, never seen a 3 wheeler?? Mike, Mopedigo Toronto Cn.

#11. Benelli - from Alan Jarvis

Date: Sat, 22 Aug 1998 22:15:28 +0100 From: "Alan Jarvis" <alan@unik.demon.co.uk> Subject: Benelli Hi All I am new to the moped list. I have two mopeds A Solex 3800 1964 & a Benelli/MotoBi G2 KS year unknown. It is the Benelli that I need information for. I do have a general owners handbook and Parts manual but I could do with a WORKSHOP manual. I can find very little information on Benelli mopeds (were they ashamed of them). Question Where can I obtain parts, I have already purchased the entire stock of the UK dealer. e.g. 2 mudguards, 1 barrel & piston set, 1 ht coil, 1 headlight complete, 2 fork stauntions, gaskets & oil seals, set of cables, wheel bearings, Brake shoes, clutch shoes/linings. I need a cylinder head without missing fins! It actually runs very well. It appears to have a variable gear via a centrifugal clutch & the clutch cable fully engages the one fixed gear by locking out the clutch. Question Is the engine really made by Benelli/MotoBi or is it another manufactures engine or was it used by other manufactures? Description 50cc with integral gearbox/clutch located horizontally (like the old Aermacchi-HD 350cc motorbike) Available with kickstart or pedals. Frame is approx 2 inch diam spine frame with the engine hung underneath. Being Italian, of course it is RED. All information will be much appreciated. Alan in the UK.
