I read that Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan said "the great insight" that you get from the book Under the Dome is "an incredibly moving and simple truth. A nugget of wisdom that you'll be using as soon as you turn the last page."

I've started the 6th Alvin book by OSC called The Crystal City. I never thought alternative early American history would be so much fun. OSC had Napoleon fighting in America in one book and he has magical knacks too. George Washington was beheaded in the first book. John Adams was the judge over a witch trial in Heartfire. Now Alvin is hanging out in the beginning of the 6th book with Abe Lincoln. Now that Jon & Kate or over, TLC is pushing their other show, Table for Twelve, which is a family with two sets of twins and sextuplets.
I wouln't like the overdone religious part either. I'll check it out sometime.

Even though I feel sorry for you, I have to admit it sounds cute. That was a good story, especially the payback part with the dolls hanging from nooses.

I use to tie my blonde Barbie doll up and have Ken spank her. I didn't do it to the brunette one. I don't know what that means. Duma Key was the first King book in ages I actually loved, and so far I'm liking Dome better, but this is a 1000 page book, even 300 pages in he has a lot of room left to botch it.
