hi jep you can test the light with a battery. but this has no relation
to your start problem i guess.
check if the 'stop' button isn't making contact (to test disconnect all
wires what come out of the motor exept the ignition cable) it has to
spark then.
if not change ignition coil, or adjust point gap...no gap no spark..

start back up there was no spark so i replaced the spark plug and

nothing then i played with wires and still nothing is there supposed
to be
a charge going through the frame to make the back light work and if so
wouldnt a 6volt battery work to test it
