Hi ,
Could be the plug , but more suspicious is the gas flow, old moped means mostly, rust or dirt in tank. cleanout the carb, and use a gaslinefilter to keep floating partikels out of the cab. clean the jets bij blowing air throu , clean floatbasin and check carb inlet opening and all av filters . check gas flow from tank, (couldbe a clogged tap filter or vacuum by a blocked air inlet) use new gas line to prevent leaks (old gasline looses its elasticity)
don't know if you added fresh fuel to the tank, otherwise the old mix could have clogged up de jet anyway.
other tip, could also be a piece of carbon from inside, what came loose and is now fauling the sparkplug. so first clean that one. if dry and clean try to start and if with no result remove sparkplug and check condition, it has to be wet from the gas and not too oily from the mixoil.
