won't hurt to reduce ratio  Donald Ruggles

Hi! Listen! If you don't think your `ped is topping out on rpms(revving
too high already when flat out on a straight road),don't be afraid to
reduce your total ratio by 15-20% for hills.Or you can install a 65cc or
70cc bore kit for more power. It won't hurt your moped IF you don't
ramrod it too hard in first gear before it shifts.Just inquire of a
Tomos dealer or moped shop as to what sprockets are available for your
bike and whether it's front or rear,as long as you don't exceed 20%
reduction,you'll be alright.
