Ether  Manonbicycle

I have used Ether to start my bike after winter storage. I do not know
what it might hurt , It really kicks the initial RPM count way high on a
cold engine for a second or two so maybe it causes excessive wear in
this application. It makes the engine "my Tomos A35"knock till it burns
off.Usually just a few seconds. It likely displaces fuel mix momentarily
so that there is a temporary loss of lubrication at just the point in an
active engine when it could most benefit from such.
I used a fuel stabilizer in winter 2000-2001 and didn't even need the
ether in the spring. It started and ran after the fourth kick. I smiled.
