The Aero that i owned was a Aero 50. a 50cc moped, hence the name Aero 50. it was a good moped until it died. i hacked off alot of the extra metal and body to make it lighter. and polished out the bore and exhaust port. as wwell as drilling holes in the cover plate to remove more weight. all this made it go alittle faster, to a degree. also boring out the exhaust port alittle will add some speed.

The spree was another matter. that took some research to make it go faster. they sell a 52 bore that will fit on a spree and also a litter drive pulley. to alter the weight some more. weight could also be removed by filling down execc metal around the engine area. i also installed a higher spark plug for a constant higher speed, used for longer rides.

alot more was done, that i can not remember off hand. will write more later if desired.

Boy, I don't see Honda Aero mentioned often!! A friend made a deal for two non running mopeds, a Spree and an Aero. The Aero is 50cc I think and is a real mess. I have had little luck in finding parts. That variable drive pulley looks real interesting but it wont fit on the spree.

Anyway, the Aero looks like it was a nice scooter. A little searching on the name showed that Honda has used that name for a number of scooters in the past including a 125cc scooter I seem to recall.
