Here's a possibility for you. I have a 77 Peugeot with engine problems and found a moped place in NJ called Steve's Moped, 40 Park Ave , Dumont NJ 07628 tele 201-384-7777. These guys were great! They even talked me through some problems by phone. I finally sent the motor to them and they overhauled it for I think it was about 150. Tell you what it runs great now. I use it for errands and in trlr parks when we travel.. Give them a call. They also have a website.
Good luck
Jack from Kansas

Subject: 1978 Vespa Piaggio Ciao Information?
Those are all the things that are written on the side. Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone could give me any information on these mopeds. I recently inherited one from my grandfather, and I'd like to restore it, just
as kind of a tribute to him. I guess I'm just looking for things like displacement, horsepower, original colors, where I could get rings and such to rebuild the engine, where I can find a replacement brakelight cover, and
other such information. Anything and everything about these mopeds would be great help for me.
Thank you!
