My friend also has a Garelli, not sure what type. It's a good
moped and 
 pretty reliable. I'm not too familiar with batavus' mopeds,
but it sounds 
 like a pretty good deal. Try to get him to as low as possible, and ask
if he 
 has papers. My friend also had a problem with the Petcock repetidly, a
brand 
 new one made it run like a gem. Good Luck,
