Thanks to those who replied to the "Good Bike" query. I
bought it. Although
after putting 17 miles on it I'm not impressed. The quality just
isn't there.
It's no faster than my Batavus and now I know how much I like the
"tank over
style."
I do have a question concerning the bike and need help. The bike is
a
Minorelli Motron. It has a Dellorto carb # SHA 14. and it won't
idle. At all.
I though that it just needed adjusting but was wrong. I disassembled
the
carb, cleaned it and reassembled it. No change. I did notice that the
air
slide doesn't go down all the way to the point it contacts the
point on the
adjustment screw inside the carb. I can shorten the cable up to set
the idle.
but I don't think this is the right way to do it. If the slide did
go all the
way down to the adjuster screw it would completely close off all air.
Certainly this is not the no idle problem nor the solution. Something
here is
just not right. Any ideas? Hank
