Yes the ports. There are ways to calculate the exact sizes it should be
in combination with this and that exhaust or so and so exhaust. But for
the basic "getting it to go faster" stick to a 2 mm at maximum of
increasing the size.

It's probably worn. First check if it hasn't been greased or something.
It should be completely dry except for the bearings.
If it's just plain worn out. It's pretty hard to get new lining for the
clutch (well at least here it is), but it's the only solution.
