I have a '79 Maxi that I paid $300 for and it's in "fair" condition, at
best. Three hundred - $500 seems to be the going price for Puch's that I've
seen. Price will go up or down depending on many factors.

If you can't find one, let me know and I'll send a photocopy of mine. You
may also want to get a service manual - many dealers seem to have them

No other choice in California. Use it and don't worry about it.

It doesn't! Just add more 2-cycle oil to the tank when it gets low.

I've had mine for a year or so and it's been a lot of fun. Keep the oil
tank full and enjoy.

stations in the area?
The places in LA area are Myron's Mopeds in Fullerton and Cycle Time in LA
on La Cienega - both are in the phonebook. I talked to the owner of
Consignment Motorcycles in North Palm Springs - he has two Peugeots for sale
($450 for the pair!) and seemed to know what he was talking about. You
might give him a call if you can't find anyone else. I'd be happy to tell
you what I know about them, but it's too much to post. Send me an email if
you're interested. Others here will have lots of other useful information.
