Glad you are now O K.The carbon you removed from the muffler originated
from in the engine combustion chamber.and also collects there,and inside
the entire exaust pipe.The exaust ports of cylinder can become nearly
closed and it forms on piston top.as well.May want to check these areas
also.This build up is ususlly over a few thousand miles and not noticed
over night.There is no oil change interval,as a four stroke,but 2 cycles
have carbon removal requrements.Carbon buildup is common in mopeds with
fuel-oil mixtures and ,16 to1 creates more than100 to 1.The 16 to 1; is
16 parts gas to 1 part oil,runs smoky and that is unburned oil and that
helps make the carbon buildup.
