Not the magneto, the bolt. It's practicly the only way with moby's.
Trust me on this one, I've had a lot of em and still do. It wont do any
harm on the engine at all. Those bolts getting stuck beyond anyone's
normal strenght is a typical moby thing. With a well placed smack on the
bolt, most will loosen, so far I only had to cut off one.
