I have a 1982 yam towny. it runs very good and in good shape. but i need to get it safied. i brought it to mu local yamaha dealer.. but they said was in very good shape. except for the tires which were orignal.. but they are cracked on side wall. they tried to get 2 tires but none are avilable till maybe oct/06.. ( now it is aug/06). does anyone know where i can get tires for this towny.. it there a used parts for 1982 townys.. i looked on the net but nothing.. does anyone have sites or places i can look up.. i really like this little bike to get around town. as fuel today aug 04/06 is $1.15 per litre. i live in cornwall ontario canada....tks...john
