| I have a 85 qt50 and have been working on modefing it to run better but not a lot of luck . so far i have ported out the exaust port and polished it,took the 12 in small exaust pipe out of the muffler and opened it up. it has good power and sounds great but it still will only go 30 mph and then it just chops down on the pipe part tell it needs more power and then it comes back on the pipe . dose any one know if it has a limeter on there for safty and if so how can i by pass it . my friend has 2 satches 50 cc and he is a old dirt bike racer and has been doing port and polishing for over 40 years and he also tryed to do this on his bike as well with know luck even put a 90 cc carb in it as well and re jetted it.so we think it can only be a limeter of some kind. |
