Hi! Could it be the points or timing? The points can
lose good contact with each other and that will really
foul up performance.If it isn't electronic ignition(if
it has points and condenser) replace these
components,gap the points to the right spec.,usually
.014"-.018".You can't go wrong replacing bad
points.Also make sure that your coil to spark plug
wire is good.Look for a strong spark, at the electrode
when you ground the tip of the plug on the motor
head,when you crank the engine over with the switch
on.BYE!
