Dave,
Is it worth saving? If the installation was done properly, the chances are
the cable housing, instrument, or drive caused the failure to start with. I
would try to figure out which it was.
If the cable can not be easily removed from the drive the drive has
probably been damaged so I would just replace it.

Subject: Speedometer Drive Question
I have a 1995 Tomos Targa and the speedometer cable broke off inside the
speedometer drive (thing on the front wheel) and I am unable to remove
it so I can install a new cable. Is there any way to get it out or do I
have to but a new one?
Thanks a lot.
Dave
