If you are in the vicinity of a community college (as I am) that teaches courses in small engine repair and maintenance, you might take the tank to them and get it cleaned and sealed. They buy chemicals by the drum and pay a lot less than the public. I got my 1.1 gal. Kreidler tank done for $8.00 that way, though it took three weeks. Just an idea. |
