Hi Tom,
It's a 2001 Elite SR50 (~50cc). I really like it. My puch has a max speed
of about 25 mph, my scooter at about 37mph feels so much faster. I've had it
since July and it has about 900 miles now.
On a different note, are there any riders from Maine on this list? I'd
really like someone to ride with before its too cold.

operated.Engine off,fuel valve off.Engine running,vacuum keeps valve
open.Look under the gas tank and see if you have one on yours.It has a
vacuum line and the fuel line.Trace them out.ORIGINAL PROBLEM---If yours
is like mine,allow engine to warm a bit ,before heading directly into
traffic.I know that is the normal operation for mine,every cold
start,and that is the way it operates.If something changes,than you may
have a problem.Till then,ride and enjoy it.Old saying here in the
