Unless I'm badly mistaken, you need to push the choke rod DOWN for a cold start. Also, my Puch is a '79 and not an 86, but I don't have a primer bulb on mine. Are you sure that yours has a primer bulb, and that you are not pushing on the carb. vent? SteveM. |
