Maybe simple, cut/disconnect the black wire to the kill switch where it
comes out the ignition to rule out any kill switch problems..
as a simple test (hope you don't have hart problems..) touch the open black
wire when starting...you get a good electro shock when coil is functioning..
cheapest testing equipment in the world..

In the ad, the seller said the kill switch was broken. Wire around the

switch

and try again to see if you have spark. You would need test equiptment to
test the coil. At least a meter. Replacement is costly testing.
I would think that you would have to repair the moped to see if the seller
mislead you.
I buy and sell on ebay, and things can happen in transit. But I have been
told things which are were not true about a lap top.
