i have a 2000 tomos targa and it'll hit about 34 on flat with 87 octane gas
only. (higher octane works worse in my case for some reason) in the book it
recommends 98 octane and my dealer said "first of all, you can't find 98
that easily 2nd of all it'll run much better with 87 than higher octanes.
and he was right. with 89 it'll hit about 32 and 93 it'll only hit about 30.
so i run 87 now. i am thinking about purchasing the biturbo exhaust which
will make it do about 40 mph. then you can get into boring, but that is just
a pain in the ass, so the biturbo is prolly as far as i'll go if that. hope
this helps.
