i had a 78 puch 2 horse power that did the same thing when i got it running.
then i played around with the switch and it worked right, don't know why,
don't know how, but it did, and hasn't had trouble since. all i really did
was hit it when i was ridin and that probaly somehow knocked it back into
place.
