That sounds like an ignition coil problem. I have these problems all the
time with mobylettes. They have realy bad ignitions.
If you mean with the magneto the flywheel, that's the last thing I would
think about. I've never seen an ignition failing because a magneto got
too hot.
I've seen an ignition with too light magneto's tho'. Thta was on a
sparta buddy as well.
