James,
I think you have a nice find.

I have 2 of these bikes (really not a moped) and they are great! My kids love to
ride them and so do I. I got them after they were sitting for several years and
had to clean out and coat the gas tanks because of rust, clean out the carbs, and
get new petcocks and batteries. After that they have not given me on bit of
trouble in the last 4 years.

Parts are readily available on special order from the local Yamaha dealer and
only took a few days.
