Yep, thats right, its a smaller inlet, they put a plug in it when
the moped came to sweden. I cant afford putting in a new 55cc or
something, Ill just remove that plug (make the inlet larger
again) and some other small tricks that'll make it go a bit
faster. Thanks! /Jonas

> I learned swedish puch engines have a smaller inlet. Make it
bigger and it will already go faster. You might want to check
out the carb. If it is a 10 mm, try to get a 12, or better yet a
15 mm bing. I'm currently working on a 4 gear Monza engine for a
normal puch (MV 50). With a 55 cc engine bigger, inlet, bigger
exhaustportal, highpressure head, performance exhaust and 15 mm
bing it'll top near 80 kph. > For basic tuning, what your
friends know about the yamaha FS1 will work just as well for a
puch Monza. 80 might be a bit fast for a country where legal
speed is 30, but getting it to go 60 is no problem at all (as in
work, not legallity). > > Robbert > > this mailing list. > Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics >
