Vinnie,
For the most part, these things are too stupid not to run. There is not
that much to them. They can be a PIA to adjust though. Parts are the problem.
Use caution when buying used, with poor supply, and high prices you can
exceed the value easily. I bought two old Batavus and made one good one, It's
great for my son but the wheelbase is a little short for an adult. I'm
looking for an "adult size" bike to ride with him. Haven't found one yet, so
I can't suggest any. Hope this helps some. Hank
