This is the home of the Moped mailing list, THE PLACE for all your questions, answers, tips, know-how, how-to, want-to, go-there, dump-it and do nots or any other subject related to... guess what ? Mopeds!

This list is for discussion of mopeds, modern scooters and motorized bicycles. You need to become a subscriber before you can post to the list!

New instructions for accessing the list:
Join - send empty message to moped-subscribe@topica.com

Leave - send empty message to moped-unsubscribe@topica.com

Messages can also be accessed via web archives.

You can modify your options from http://www.topica.com/lists/moped/prefs
(this is where you go to toggle list/digest/web_only mode).

  • Posting to the list - just send mail to moped@topica.com At this point the list is unmoderated, messages will go online immediately. However, I plan to keep an eye in the posts - spam is absolutely prohibited and off-topic posts are not very welcome either :)

  • Replying - if you want your reply to be posted on a list, just use 'reply' command of your mail client. If you want to email the person who originated the message, copy/paste his address - it's in the beginning line of the message. Example:

    From: andy@moped2.org (Andrei Zaitsev)
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

  • Browsing thru previous postings - these are archived on irregular bases and can be accessed at http://moped2.org/archives.htm

  • If all mail sent to your account begins to bounce, you will be unsubscribed. If you don't get any messages for 4-5 days, this could be the reason. If this happens, email me - then I'll know that your mail account is back up and will reactivate your subscription.

  • One last thing - please send messages as text only - no HTML.
