It was love at first sight when I saw the DKW RT 139 and I still think that it is a great moped. It`s a strong German moped, it weighs a ton and it looks pretty modern I think. Be sure that you have enough money when you go to a gas station because the petroltank is pretty large.

The moped [mine] is equiped with a three hand gear DKW engine that is identical to a Sachs three hand gear engine. Spare parts are sometimes difficult to get! I think that it`s well worth the effort of finding them to keep this great moped on the road.
