I ordered a kit from Dimension Edge on May 29, 2008. They told me it would ship the following Tuesday. Today is June 10th, and after much calling, I`m still not sure it`s on the way. Today they told me it shipped last Friday and gave me a tracking number for DHL that was invalid. I called them back to confirm I had the correct number. After sitting on hold for about 5 minutes, they came back to the line and assured me the package was in GA. I typed the tracking number in at the DHL tracking website at least 30 times. So many, I know it by heart now. I sent them an e-mail, which I will paste below, on Saturday and still no one responded. Has anyone else had this issue? If I end up canceling payment and ordering from elsewhere, can anyone suggest a comparable system from someone who won`t rip me off or lie to me?Hello,
When I ordered my engine kit on Thursday, May 29, I was told you were getting the products to fill the order on Monday, and it would be shipped Tuesday, June 3. I called on Wed. 6/4
to see if it had been shipped, and the lady who answered the phone said something about a `shaft` that was on backorder, but assured me the order would go out that afternoon. I called
again on Thurs. afternoon, 6/5, and my order still had not been shipped. She said it would be going out that day via DHL, and she would e-mail a tracking number as soon as it left. I
told her I was really counting on this kit to have been shipped by now, and if I had to pay a little extra to have it overnighted, it would be worth it to me. She said she would see what
she could do, and contact me with the information I needed via e-mail. I never received an e-mail. I called again on Friday 6/6, and the gentleman who took my order answered the
phone and said he was out of the office, and I would need to call back after awhile so he could see what was going on. He said if my order was shipped US Mail, there would be no
tracking number, which concerned me. When I called back later that day, I spoke to the lady again, and she told me she is sorry for the inconvenience, but `shit happens`. Now it has been
10 days since I placed the order, and I`m not sure if it is on the way here, or not. I have not received a phone call or an e-mail, as I have requested several times, to let me know if the
package is in route to me. I`m sure you can understand my disappointment, and at this point, I think you should refund the shipping charges, $38.00, as it was not shipped according to
when I was told it would be (by Tuesday), and a goodwill gesture in the form of a refund for the extra things I ordered (kill switch, tire, bracket for full suspension) in the amount of
$74.00 for the unprofessional treatment, and giving me the runaround all week long. Like I said already, it has been 10 days since I placed the order and paid for it, and I still don`t know if
it is on the way here or not.
There are a couple of people I know who are waiting for me to get this thing together, and are interested in purchasing one for themselves due to increasing fuel prices. We have done a
lot of research online regarding motorized bicycles, and I have accepted the role of the guinea pig. They were all leaning toward chain drive kits, but I decided to be the first to order, and
chose your system. However, my experience with your company has been far less than what I expect from anyone who has been in business for 22 years. As Service Manager in an auto
repair shop, I look at every customer as an opportunity for good word-of-mouth advertising, and a chance to do business with someone I have yet to meet. I also know that when I treat
someone right, they will tell people nice things when the subject of getting cars fixed comes up. When someone feels like they have been wronged by me, they will tell anyone who
listens to avoid me like the plague, every opportunity they get. It seems to be a conversation starter.
I thank you in advance for your prompt attention in this matter. I would appreciate a telephone call at my home this weekend at 407-880-4839, or at work first thing Monday at
407-629-2661. I have attached a copy of my sales receipt.
Yours truly,
Mario Guida
