... here is some info you might be interested in: the mopeds on
your page http://moped2.org/rmoped.htm definitely originated in Riga, at
least three that I know of. I cannot say anything about Fora Sprint, as it
seems unfamiliar to me. I've lived in Riga all my life, and as a kid I
dreamed about having my own moped, that dream never came true however. Well,
I drive BMW now :-)

Anyway, sorry for getting distracted. I believe the moped pictured on the
top right picture(Riga) is Riga 19, one of the last mopeds from "Sarkana
Zvaigzne" with pedals. In case the engine stalled, you could get along with
pedaling, although it required some muscular horsepower :-). The moped has
only the first and neutral gears and is equipped with a 50cc engine, maxing
out at 50kph (officially). The moped on the left lower picture (Fora) is
Delta, also manufactured by Sarkana Zvaigzne, it had two gears, and several
engine modifications. It was one of the newer models, I believe somewhere
around the end of 80's. And Fora Mini is was called Riga Mini when
manufactured in Riga. I believe it was born in cooperation some Polish or
German company, although I might be wrong there. I am not sure about Fora
Sprint, but it looks somewhat similar to the last known to me model of Riga
moped factory "Sarkana Zvaigzne", it was called Stella, had a 3 speed
gearbox and if I am correct a German engine. So much for my moped
dreams....hope this is of any interest!

Sincerely
